"REVISED" This synopsis is to announce that the 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene Tx, intends to solicit and award 10 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) in support of this requirement. The proposed BPAs shall be awarded to 10 contractors within 15-30 miles maximum to contractors who shall be able to furnish lodging accommodations as duty circumstances dictate for Dyess Air Force Base. Vendors shall be able to provide rooms which contain living and sleeping areas in accordance with commercial standards. In performing work under this agreement, the lodging facility shall comply will all relevant federal, state, and local statues, ordinances, laws and regulations which governs the industry. This BPA is anticipated to be awarded Firm Fixed Priced with payments by Government Purchase Card (GPC). This synopsis is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government, or as a Request for Proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting a Statement of Capabilities to Marlene Teekell at marlene.teekell@us.af.mil. A determination by the Government whether or not to complete the instant contract based upon an assessment of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to move forward with BPA procurement. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the interested party to another official who can resolve the concern. Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMB Circular A-76 competition performance decisions).
