Pre Solicitation: Synopsis Cavalier Guard Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5) PSC: S206 Housekeeping- Guard 561612 – Security Guards and Patrol Services The 319th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) for a commercial service of Guard Services at Cavalier Space Force Station (CSFS), North Dakota. The contractor shall provide armed guard services for Cavalier Space Force Station (CSFS) consisting of a sufficient number of properly trained and qualified personnel to protect CSFS personnel, facilities, equipment, provide installation entry control 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, conduct designated facility checks every six hours, remain current on all training as required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS), AFI 31-117, and any local memorandums of understanding or agreements with local supporting agencies. The contractor will ensure that all positions are properly manned at all times. A formal solicitation will be issued on or around 28 March 2023. The solicitation will result in a single, firm-fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded with a base period of 1 June 2023 - 31 May 2024, with four, twelve (12) month option periods to follow. The total period of performance, given all options exercised, will be 1 June 2023- 31 May 2028. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services, and the small business size standard is $25.5M. This acquisition will be solicited as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business set-aside. A formal RFQ will be issued via sam.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be mailed. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking sam.gov to obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to the solicitation. All offerors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database or their proposal MAY NOT be considered for award.
