The 319th Contracting Squadron is inquiring for souces that can fulfill the below requirement: GFAFB requires three (3) drop arm barriers along with associated equipment. Two (2) drop arms shall be 10-ft in length to cover two individual car lanes, and one (1) drop arm shall be a length ranging from 26-ft to 30-ft to cover a commercial vehicle lane. Equipment shall be compatible with either 120/208V service or 277/480V service (277/480 is preferred). Equipment and drop arms shall be made to withstand North Dakota climates, to include extremely low and extremely high temperatures, and extreme wind gusts. Equipment shall meet applicable UFC and codes for extreme climate conditions at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. Drop arms are not required to be crash rated. Each drop arm shall be individually controlled manually with a switching mechanism, remote, or button located within 50 ft of the drop arm.
