Pre Solicitation: Synopsis Fire Suppression Inspection Services Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5) PSC: H112 Quality Control—Fire Control Equipment 561990- All Other Support Services The 319th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) for a commercial service of Fire Suppression Inspection Services at Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), North Dakota. The contractor shall inspect, test, certify, service, repair, clean and maintain all fire suppression systems in accordance with applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), United Facilities Criteria (UFC), manufacturer's recommendations and all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The contractor is required to drain and refill the MicroMist systems water tank annually in strict accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Inspection of fire suppression systems shall be done twice a year, and in accordance with the statement of work. A formal solicitation will be issued on or around 25 July 2022. The solicitation will result in a single, firm-fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded with a base period of 1 October 2022- 30 September 2023, with four, twelve (12) month option periods to follow. The total period of performance, given all options exercised, will be 1 October 2022- 30 September 2027. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561990, All Other Support Services, and the small business size standard is $14.5M. This acquisition will be solicited as a total small business set-aside. A formal RFQ will be issued via sam.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be mailed. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking sam.gov to obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to the solicitation. All offerors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database or their proposal MAY NOT be considered for award.
