No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions that has the capability to fulfill a requirement at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The requirement is as follows: The Contemporary Praise and Worship Director is to provide a non-personal service to support the 319th Reconnaissance Wing Chapel at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. The contractor shall perform duties that will include but not be limited to: recruiting volunteer musicians and vocalists, ensuring volunteers complete a background check if working with youth under 18 years old, conducting musical training, and rehearsing with a Band and Praise Team comprised of volunteer musicians and vocalists for the purpose of leading a congregation in current contemporary praise and worship songs. This contract will consist of a base and two option years. There is currently an incumbent. The North American Industry Classification System is 711510 – Independent Artist, Writer, and Performer. The purpose of this source sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilizes Business Zones (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business’s (EDWOSB) to compete for this requirement. NOTE: If you believe the above NAICS to be incorrect please suggest alternate NAICS for this acquisition. Any information received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis.
