Synopsis The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), ND intends to issue an Oral Solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) requirements contract for Vehicle Radios to be delivered to Beale AFB, CA. This acquisition will be done in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items). The RFQ is being utilized to solicit quotes for 2 UHF/VHF (dual-band) AM vehicle mountable radio sets for use in RQ-4 chase cars. Requesting a AN/PRC-152A(V)4(C) OR EQUAL radio sets. This is the same radio the manned assets carry with them in case of ejection to communicate securely with other military assets. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423620 - Automotive radios merchant wholesalers and the size standard is 200 Employees.. Award will be made using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). This acquisition will be solicited 100% Small Business set aside. The Oral Solicitation will be issued on or at about 29 Aug 2020 and will close on 8 Sept 2020 at 2:00 PM CST. All contractors MUST be registered in the SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) database or their proposal MAY NOT be considered for award. Contractors can obtain further information on the SAM database at the website https://www.sam.gov. All responsible sources may request the Oral Solicitation to be sent to them.
