This requirement is for the procurement of three (3) airlift refrigeration container systems. Given the harsh deployment environments the 819th Red Horse Squadron faces, the systems need to comply with specified salient characteristics. The Highland Engineering Expeditionary Airlift Refrigeration Container Systems are the only authorized container systems that comply with RED Horse uniformity standards. When in need of equipment, RED Horse must reference the Automated Readiness Information System (ARIS) for the list approved items. The ARIS Equipment Supply Listing (ESL) lists the refrigerator provided by Highland Engineering as the required source for this requirement. If any other product not from the ARIS ESL is brought, the deploying members risk the high possibility of being turned away from their deployment location to return with the listed product.
