The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to replace flooring in 4 internal stair towers in Building 500 on Malmstrom Air Force Base. Contractor shall match colors and materials to the greatest extent possible. Bare concrete "roof access" stair treads are not included. Contractor shall field verify quantity of material required before ordering any material prior to construction. 1.2 The Contractor shall dispose of all excess materials and materials removed during installation to include old adhesive and stair tread scraps in an approved receptacle or container furnished by the Contractor. The project site shall be cleaned at the end of each workday. 1.3 For stair treads, the Contractor shall use Flexco Type 1776 RGT Radial II rubber one-piece stair tread with riser, 48" wide with 2" black carborundum grit strip, or equal. Current color is 099 Midnight Blue. Government estimate is 600 stair treads and risers. For the landings, the Contractor shall use slip resistant vinyl sheet flooring. Color shall match or complement stair treads. Current product is Mannington Assurance II slip resistant vinyl flooring, color 16330 deep blue. Government estimate is 600 sf of landings. Contractor shall use solid weld rod. Current product is Mannington, color 842416. Contractor shall use adhesive as approved by manufacturer according to the substrate and use. Contractor must ensure emergency egress is accessible within stairwells at all times. 1.6 The Contractor shall have all required work completed no later than 90 calendar days. 1.7 The Contractor shall comply with all existing Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) standards of safety at all times in the performance of this contract. Hazards to the safe use of the premises due to the Contractor's work and/or equipment shall be suitably marked at all times. 1.8 In accordance with AFI 10-245, Anti-terrorism (AT), the Government will ensure that AT Level-1 awareness training is offered to all Contractors. The objective of the training is to provide personnel with requisite knowledge necessary to remain vigilant and enable employment of AT tactics, techniques, and procedures. 1.9 Contractor personnel are required to abide by all real world Force Protection Condition (FPCON) measures, random anti-terrorism measures (RAMs), shelter-in-place orders, evacuations and lock-down notices as directed. Examples include mandatory badge or ID checks, facility single points-of-entry and searches of hand carried items.
