Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 341st Contracting Squadron (CONS) – Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana intends to award on a sole-source basis a contract to H&E Equipment Services for inspection of six crane booms as required by manufacturer guidelines for the 341st Maintenance Group (MXG) and Rivet Mile. The period of performance is estimated to be one year. H&E Equipment Services is the only qualified business within the state of Montana to provide this service. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
