Work consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to remove and install a new fire alarm system, demolish and replace concrete, asbestos removal, patching of existing building roof and walls, replacement of fire and jockey pumps including controllers, sensing lines, suction and discharge adapters and replacement of all piping, valves, hangers and supports for all piping 12 in. and larger and 10 in. and smaller in accordance with the project specifications, drawings and blueprints. This acquisition is advertised as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Notice to Offers: Funds are presently not available for this requirement. Award under this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. In the event the government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Period of Performance: 120 days after notice to proceed. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the repair of the fire protection system in hanger 1459 at Malmstrom AFB, (Great Falls) Montana. Work consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to remove and install a new fire alarm system, demolish and replace concrete, asbestos removal, patching of existing building roof and walls, replacement of fire and jockey pumps including controllers, sensing lines, suction and discharge adaptors and replacement of all piping, valves, hangers and supports for all piping 12" and larger and 10" and smaller in accordance with the project specifications, drawings and blueprints. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 1 November 2019. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 1 December 2019. The Performance Period for this project is one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the contract. This acquisition is open to small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010.
