The 341st Contracting Squadron is conducting requesting potential sources to provide all labor, rodenticide, chemicals, fumigants, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform rodenticide treatments, extermination and carcass removal of Richardson’s Ground Squirrels for approximately 672 acres of main base area and 328 acres of housing area. The certified applicator shall apply control measures to include EPA and DoD approved fumigants, rodenticides, smoke applications, and traps, in accordance with the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and product label. All fumigants, smoke applications, rodenticides and chemicals must be approved by the Malmstrom AFB Pest Management Consultant before use. FUMIGANTS AND SMOKE APPLICATIONS MUST NOT BE APPLIED INTO A BURROW SYSTEM THAT IS WITHIN 100 FEET OF A BUILDING THAT IS, OR MAY BE, OCCUPIED BY HUMANS, AND/OR DOMESTIC ANIMALS. Placement of placards must be visible to the public when fumigants/chemicals/rodenticides are in use or present in the area. See attachments for more details.
