Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 341st Contracting Squadron – Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana intends to award on a sole-source basis contract to Whitaker Brothers, Inc., for scheduled, periodic preventive maintenance on a 120 Disintegrator for the 341st Operations Group (OG). The period of performance consists of a one year (1) period of 12-months and provides two (2) annual service calls to be conducted six (6) months apart. Whitaker Brothers, Inc., is the sole manufacturer/source provider for the 120 Disintegrator system and preventive maintenance programs sold by Whitaker Brothers, Inc. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
