SOURCES SOUGHT: FA4626-20-Q-0013 PUMP REPAIR Notice Type: Sources Sought 1. Notice: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS is 811310, “Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except automotive and electronic) Repair and Maintenance” with a small business size standard of $8.0M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women owned small business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 1.2 Below is a document containing a description of services requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company’s capability. 1.3 If the Government decides to conduct procurement as a result of the market research, a combined synopsis/solicitation may be posted to beta.SAM. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to repair and recondition, including the upgrade of the Mechanical Seal, Wear Rings and Throat Bushing, of the Dean Brothers Pumps R-484 6x8-15 ½ end-suction centrifugal type pump used on the distribution system of the high temperature hot water heating plant. 1.2. The Contractor shall recondition the pump with OEM parts unless manufacturer has stated otherwise. Shipping costs back to Malmstrom AFB will be included in the price quote. 2. Pump Information: 2.1.
