THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this for market research purposes only. Should a formal solicitation be released, it may be through the Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov). The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. DESCRIPTION: Seeking market capability to provide/meet the following minimum requirement: Pyrotechnics for the 2019 Open House at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana The pyrotechnics must (at a minimum) comply with the specified requirements: - Be provided and conducted in accordance with the scheduled events of the 2019 Open House at Malmstrom AFB - Pyrotechnics provided such as: single bombs, double bombs, MOAB bombs, regular strafes, hot strafes, napalm, gasoline, Wall of Fire, etc. - All actual work will be performed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, MT on July 13th and 14th of 2019, with a practice run of performances/scheduled events to occur on the 12th of July. We are trying to gather market research to see what potential small businesses could provide this requirement, however we are willing to go to full and open competition if necessary. NOTE: Equivalency shall be determined based on the salient specifications contained in this RFI. CAPABILITIES STATEMENT Interested parties are encouraged to submit a capability statement, with descriptive literature, clearly demonstrating ability to meet the stated requirements.
