This is not a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes; no solicitation is available at this time. This announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in response to this notice. Responses to this notice will not be returned. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the SAM.gov. Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The primary purposes of this notice are as follows: Conduct market research to determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency’s requirement exist Engage with industry to implement best practices for the Air Force Improve small business access to acquisition information Enhance competition by identifying contracting opportunities REQUIREMENT: The 509th Contracting Squadron, Whiteman AFB, Missouri is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested sources for small businesses that are certified to work on Vaisala LX RPU Road Weather Station. The service for RWIS would be for base + four option years. Set-aside: TBD The following information is requested in this Sources Sought: Company name, address, point of contact (POC), phone number, and email address DUNS Number and CAGE Code Company’s business size and socio-economic status Interested contractors may provide the above information to the email addresses listed below **Comments on the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) are encouraged. If the PWS is veering outside standard industry practice, the Government is interested in ensuring the applicability of our requirement to commercially acceptable practices. Information submitted must be in sufficient detail as to allow for a thorough government review of firm’s interest and capabilities. This information is due no later than 09 February 2022 by 1100 am Central Time.
