There is no extension of questions //END Amendment 1// tsc This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Kitchen Fire Suppression Inspection/Certification, Solicitation Number FA462521Q1066. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06 dated 12 July 2021, Defense Acquisition Regulation dated 9 July 2021, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2021-0726 dated 26-July-2021. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. The small business size standard is $16.5M. The services required in the contract are to provide annual, semiannual, and periodic inspections, certifications, and maintenance service for commercial and residential kitchen fire suppression systems for Whiteman AFB in accordance with (IAW) PWS dated 10 August 2021 (Attachment 1). The acquisition performance period is for one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, with the possibility to extend the service for six additional months. The Government intends to issue a single award from this solicitation. Responsible sources may submit a quote, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Paper copies of the Request for Quotes will not be made available. Quotes shall be e-mailed to the following e-mail address: 509cons.sollgca@us.af.mil (Attn: A1C Marina Zapata). NOTE: quotes must be received by 13 September 2021, 10:00 AM CDT; late quotes will not be considered for award. All quotes shall be valid for a period of 90 days. Offerors must be registered and have an active status in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Questions shall be submitted by 25th of August 2021 by 10:00 AM CDT. Answers will be posted to the solicitation as an attachment as soon as all answers have been reviewed by the Contracting Officer. FAR Clauses and Provisions are hereby incorporated by reference into this solicitation with the same force and effect as if incorporated by full text. Evaluation for this acquisition will be based on price only. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror meeting the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options, including the optional 6-month extension of services, to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). In the event the Government extends services under the authority of FAR 52.217-8, “Option to Extend Services”, unit pricing for the last option year exercised preceding the extension shall remain in effect. These prices are already determined to have been evaluated at time of contract award. The Offeror’s quote submission shall consist the following: 1. Company letter identifying the point of contact authorized to sign for the Offeror, DUNS number, and cage code. Price schedule will suffice in lieu of company letter. 2.
