This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation FA462521Q1056. The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. Extend quote due date to 29 June 2021, 10:00 AM CDT 2. Add Attachment 7, Progress Schedule Questionnaire, as a required element of quote submission. 3. Revise Attachment 1, PWS, par. 3.4, by adding clarifying information (no more than 31 extinguishers may be serviced at a time). Quoters are reminded to acknowledge this amendment in Attachment 4, Price Schedule and Acknowledgment. Amendment Posting Date is 23 June 2021. //PREVIOUS// NOTE: This requirement has changed since the Sources Sought (FA462521N1001). Notably, a pressure leak test is required instead of visual inspection (see TCTO 13F4-4-501C) and the completion date was adjusted to 8 November 2021. See attachments. The Contractor shall provide all labor and parts required to conduct a 6-year maintenance on 131 halon fire extinguishers (Amerex 150 lb. Wheeled Stored Pressure Halon 1211 Extinguisher Model 600), including a Low Pressure Leak Test on the solder found at the joint connecting the Down Tube, Valve Assembly, and add NSN 4210-01-044-1429 to the Inspection criteria. The Low Pressure Leak Test removes the need for visual inspection and uses a low-pressure test to determine serviceability of the soldered joint. All fire extinguishers shall be inspected and maintained in accordance with (IAW) the National Fire Protection Association standard titled "Portable Fire Extinguishers", NFPA-10 and the requirements of local authorities having jurisdiction. The work shall be performed IAW TO 13F4-4-121, TCTO 13F4-4-501, and TCTO 13F4-4-501C (Note: TCTO 13F4-4-501C supplements, and is used in conjunction with, TCTO 13F4-4-501). All work shall be accomplished NLT 8 November 2021. //PREVIOUS//
