The 92d LRS has a requirement for a personal luggage X-Ray machine to be used in the PAX terminal at Fairchild AFB. X-Ray Machine must meet the Salient Characteristics and be on the approved TSA Device Checklist. The purpose of Amendment 1 is to extend the solicitation by seven (7) days, Revise Attach. 2 - Salient Characteristics, and provide answers for questions. The purpose of Amendment 2 is to extend the solicitation by Twentyone (21) days, and change the main government point of contact. The purpose of Amendment 3 is to extend the solicitation by Twentyone (21) days, and change the main government point of contact. The amendment will give the government ample time to amend the salient characteristics. Another amendment will be posted at a later date with the amended salient characteristics. The purpose of Amendment 4 is to revise the Salient Characteristics. Please see updated Attach. 2 - Salient Characteristics 24May23 The purpose of Amendment 5 is to extend the solicitation by nine (9) days and revise the Salient Characteristics. Please see updated attach. 2 – Salient Characteristics 13Jun23. The government discovered an error in the Salient Characteristics that allowed Conditionally Approved machines to be offered. The X-ray machine must be on the “qualified technology section” list. Those on the “conditionally approved technology section” will not be considered due to risk of not being fully approved.
