AVID Technology corporate policy prevents authorized re-sellers of its products from contracting with the government. The requirement must be fully integrated with existing JPRA AVID hardware, software, and firmware already supporting JPRA's media production infrastructure. The existing system consists completely of AVID appliances, data storage, software, hardware I/O, and support contracts; only AVID products can integrate to the existing system. All components procured under this DO must integrate with existing media production infrastructure and be controlled with existing media production assets. AVID provided equipment is the only brand that will meet our needs for the following reasons:The current existing media asset managment program in use by JPRA requires full integration and functionality with new hardware upgrades. The only products to integrate with the existing AVID system are AVID products.
