PURPOSE: The purpose of the sources sought is to identify available authorized businesses to provide the required product as specified in the requirements section. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Pricing information is not being requested at this time. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. REQUIREMENT: This notice is issued by the U.S. Air Force, 92d Contracting Squadron, Fairchild AFB, WA. This sources sought is seeking to identify responsible potential sources to provide twelve (12) TACLANE Agile VLAN/HAIPE and Layer 2 Passthrough Software Feature enhancements to provide support for simultaneous HAIPE Ethernet/IP and VLAN 802.1Q traffic. This software feature will be installed into TACLANE-FLEX, Micro, 1G or 10G encryptors. General Dynamics TACLANEs are NSA certified devices that provide programmable Internet Protocol (IP) Information Security (INFOSEC) with traffic protection, networking, and management features for Information Assurance services for IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The Government owns General Dynamics TACLANEs and uses them to secure communications up to Top Secret/SCI. The existing TACLANEs have the capability for Layer 2 VLAN but the feature must be enabled through the purchase of the Agile VLAN Software feature. This software feature enhancement must able to be fully integrated with the General Dynamics TACLANE’s and maintain the TACLANE’s NSA certification for use as a Communications Security (COMSEC) device. It is currently believed that the only S A M registered business able to provide the requirement is General Dynamics. ANTICIPATED NAICS/SIZE STANDARD: This requirement falls under the NAICS Code of 541511, Custom Computing Programming Services with a size standard of $22 Million Dollars. SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION: All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. All responsible potential sources shall be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).
