Fairchild AFB is seeking information on Wire Access Points equal to a HPE Aruba AP 275 which is compatible with the existing DoD UC approved products listed Aruba Wireless Network LAN Controller and provides the following capabilities: • Wireless transceiver • Protocol-independent networking functionality • IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac operation as a wireless mesh point • IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac operation as a wireless access point • IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac operation as a wireless air monitor • Central management configuration and firmware upgrades with an Aruba LAN controller. • Air monitoring and intrusion detection/prevention • Six integrated omni-directional antennas for 3x3 MIMO with maximum antenna gain of 5 dBi in 2.4 GHz and 5 dBi in 5 GHz. Built-in antennas are optimized for horizontal mounted orientation. The Government believes HPE Aruba AP 275 is the only Brand Name equipment that meets the salient characteristics listed above for this requirement. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Pricing information is not being requested at this time. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties shall be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice.
