This Brand Name Class J&A is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Title 10 U.S.C. § 3204(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source - No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Specifically, as described in FAR 6.302-1(b)(4), the Department of the Air Force has determined in accordance with its HVAC chiller standardization policy, only the makes of HVAC chillers identified will satisfy the agency's need for additional units or replacement items for installation. As a result of this standardization plicy and and the Brand Name Class J&A, only TRANE U.S. INC. brand products will be considered for acceptability.
