Contractor is responsible to verify all quantities and measurements for carpet demo, floorprep, carpet installation and wall base prior to ordering materials or starting work activities. There is some existing carpet to be removed. Contractor is responsible for off-basedisposal. Effective October 1, 2017, there is a Mandatory Use Policy for Air Force Carpet Acquisitions which mandates carpet purchases. A statement from the installer/contractor confirming and validating that prices are at or below the NTE prices set in the Tier I Contracts must be submitted with their quote.
