In accordance with the submission procedures from the Invitation for Bid, electronic submission is only accepted through DoD SAFE drop-off. Transmissions of bids will NOT be accepted via direct email submission. The deadline to request a DoD drop-off request at DoD SAFE is 10:30 AM PDT on 12 Aug 2024, 1 business day prior to the bid due date. ______________________________ This acquisition is set aside for 8(a) Program Participants. This Invitation for Bid FA461024B0003 will be a multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. This acquisition is being solicited under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The small business size standard is $45M. The Government has a need for a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) program. The SABER program shall provide a streamlined means to complete construction projects for the 30th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES). The work entailed consists of a broad range of maintenance, repair, and construction work on real property. Work identified includes but is not limited to various trades such as carpentry, asbestos abatement/removal, demolition, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, concrete masonry, alteration of real property, and painting projects on Vandenberg Space Force Base (SFB) and its associated sites to include Pillar Point Air Force Station (PPAFS), Point Mugu, and the Santa Ynez Peak and Anderson Peak Optical Tracking Stations. Work covered under the SABER program will not require the use of a registered architect or engineer. The Government intends to award using Sealed Bidding procedures in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. The invitation for bid and subsequent amendments will be available via the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov). No paper copies of the invitation for bid, specifications, plans, or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office.
