This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for the purchase of a 24/7 operation console to match existing consoles currently installed and be designed specifically for mission critical 24/7 operations at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB). The design shall address a unique range of specific requirements and for cohesiveness and uniformity as well as future reconfigurability, only the Winsted Sightline Series console shall be considered. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a combination synopsis and solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as Other than Full and Open Competition, Brand Name, under North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 337214, “Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing”, with a size standard of 1,100 Employees. Please see the attached SF 1449 solicitation document and Salient Characteristics for contract line item numbers (CLINs), quantities, units of measure, description of requirements, period of performance information, applicable clauses and provisions, and other information pertinent to this acquisition. Offerors are required to utilize the SF 1449 solicitation document to submit their quote, following the instructions contained therein, reference FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, and the addendum thereto. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) per the CLIN structure reflected in the attached SF1449 RFQ (Supplies or Services and Prices/Cost section). Bidders/Offerors are requested to submit questions to point of contacts noted below not later than 09 August 2023, NLT 12:00 PM PDT. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov). Lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award.
