This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for new furniture for the Weather Station at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) and is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a combination synopsis and solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 337214, “Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing”, with a size standard of 1,100 Employees. Please see the attached SF 1449 solicitation document and Salient Characteristics for contract line item numbers (CLINs), quantities, units of measure, description of requirements, period of performance information, applicable clauses and provisions, and other information pertinent to this acquisition. Offerors are required to utilize the SF 1449 solicitation document to submit their quote, following the instructions contained therein, reference FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, and the addendum thereto. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) per the CLIN structure reflected in the attached SF1449 RFQ (Supplies or Services and Prices/Cost section). Site Visit: A site visit will be conducted on 20 July 2023 at 2:00 PM PST. Submit the names (Last, First, Middle as it appears on their state drivers license) and company name of all attendees to Shelby Cordts at shelby.cordts@spaceforce.mil prior to 10:00 AM PST, 18 July 2023. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base. Site visit is optional. Bidders/Offerors are requested to submit questions to point of contacts noted below not later than 21 July 2023, NLT 3:00 PM PST. Information provided at this site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov). Lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this Request for Quote (RFQ), either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this RFQ, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
