NOTE: PLEASE ACKNOWLEDE FAR 52.204-24/25 AND CHECK THE APRPTIATE BOX IF NOT DONE QUOTES WILL BE INVALID. Questions Due : COB 18 September, 2020 a. General Notes: (1) Contractor must complete an AF Form 103, Base Civil Engineer Work Clearance Request prior to starting any work. (2) Contractor will field verify all electrical requirements. (3) Contractor shall follow all applicable codes, laws, federal, state and county regulations, etc. (4) Coordinate and schedule all work to be performed with facility personnel. (a) Facility points of contact are MSgt William Hirner and TSgt Ferdie Galicia at (805) 606-8551. (b) Scheduling of on site work performance will be during a period of time that avoids disruption of maintenance requiring use of the G&C test bench, to preclude affecting the mission. b. Demolition: (1) Remove existing electrical power frequency converter, controller, conduit and wiring (2) Properly dispose of removed material. Upon completion of installation, the contractor shall remove and discard all trash and packing materials c. Construction: (1) Contractor will replace electrical power frequency converter and controller with new units equal to existing. (2) Contractor will replace electrical conduit and wiring with new materials that meet electrical code, and requirements of project's scope. 4. DRAWINGS: Electrical drawings are available at CE's engineering drawing vault, Building 11433. 5. Attachment: Current 60 Hz to 400 Hz Electrical Power Frequency Converter Dataplate 5. Warranty: Contractor shall provide one-year warranty on all items in this order against defects in materials, workmanship and manufacture typical. 6. Recycled Content: All equipment shall meet affirmative procurement guidelines as direct by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Guidelines. Contractor shall provide requirements for these products meeting or exceeding the recycled material content standards established by the EPA. The list of products and their corresponding recycle content requirements are found at www.epa.gov/cpg/products. 7. Base Passes and Controlled Area Badges: Permission for Contractor Personnel and Vehicles to enter the Air Force installation is subject to approval by the Contracting Officer and the Security Forces Squadron. The Contractor is required to comply with AFFARS 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to Air Force Installations and all Vandenberg AFB policies regarding entry to the installation, rules of the road, and compliance during contingency operations and photography prohibitions. Contractor employees are authorized entry to the installation for the purpose of work under this contract only, and are not authorized in other facilities or areas without prior government authorization. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary cards, passes, buttons, decals or other items required for access to the areas in which the work will be performed. The Contractor is required to apply for vehicle and individual identification media at the 30th Security Police Squadron, Visitor Center. Identification media shall be surrendered to the Pass and Registration Section upon completion or termination of the contract, or upon termination of an individual's employment.
