This Request For Proposal Solicitation Number will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238220. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The small business size standard is $15M. The Contractor shall provide the government with the design, construction, and warranty for the replacement of the steam system at Breakers DFAC at Building 13330 on Vandenberg AFB, California. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering/technical support), items and incidentals necessary thereto. The work is required in support of the 30th Civil Engineering Squadron, Base Civil Engineering activities. The Government intends to award on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be available via FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office. All potential offerors must be registered on the FedBizOpps.gov website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The SAM site is https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/#1. It is important to read the solicitation completely, as there are terms and conditions that must be met by the prospective offeror in order for the proposal to be considered responsive. A site visit is scheduled for 10:00 AM Pacific on Monday, 29 July 2019, meeting at the Bldg. 13330 ("N" St) on Vandenberg AFB, CA. The purpose of the site visit is to view existing conditions regarding the solicitation and is not intended for contractors to present their capabilities. Contractors wishing to attend the site visit must RSVP in writing by contacting ALL the following individuals no later than 3:00 PM Pacific on 24 July 2019.
