This is a Sources Sought Notice only. No solicitation is being issued at this time. 30 CONS/PKB is seeking commercial sources to provide corrosion control and painting of large vehicles assigned to 30th LRS/LGRV Squadron at Vandenberg AFB in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) provided with this notice. Services include, washing, sandblasting, repairing damaged metal due to corrosion, treating and preparing bare metal (primer and rust inhibitor) for painting and performing body work in conjunction with corrosion treatment to repair damage caused as a result of blast cleaning corroded metal. The anticipated period of performance includes a one-year basic period from 01 Dec 2019 through 31 May 2020, four one-year option periods running through 31 May 2024, and an optional six-month extension period running through 30 November 2024. Option periods are to be exercised at the unilateral right of the Government. This proposed contract is being considered as a set-aside under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 811121, Automotive Body, Paint and Interior Repair and Maintenance. The size standard is $7.5 M. The Government is interested in all small businesses. The Government requests that interested parties insure that the applicable NAICS is included in their System for Award Management (SAM) representations and certifications. The attached questionnaire requests information regarding the education, skills, and experience applicable to the proposed duties detailed in the SOW. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. Interested parties are encouraged to submit industry comments and/or suggested changes to the SOW posted with this notice. Respondents are also encouraged to submit information regarding commercial practices that the Government should consider implementing for this acquisition. Industry comments, suggested changes for the SOW, and/or submittal of commercial practices for the Government's consideration are requested to be submitted in writing NLT 30 May 2019, 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Additional information regarding this requirement will be posted for viewing on FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov/ as it becomes available. Interested parties are cautioned that the SOW posted with this notice is subject to change; the official version of the SOW will be released with the solicitation on a future date. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7, lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award.
