Barksdale AFB Timber Sale
The sale includes approximately 3,789 pine chip/saw and saw-timber trees, 215 pine pulpwood trees, 1,310 hardwood pulpwood trees, and 164 hardwood saw-timber trees, located on about 61 acres in Forest Units 8 and 20 at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. A 10% bid deposit is required, and the solicitation package must be downloaded online as paper copies are not available. Bidders must be registered in SAM.gov, which takes 4–10 days; the NAICS code is 113310 with a 500-employee size standard.
