The solicitation will be posted on or around 6 August 2025. The 2d Contracting Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base (BAFB), Louisiana intends to issue a solicitation for commercial services for Annual Pool Maintenance. The requirement will be a set aside for 100% Small Business with the assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561790 and size standard of $9 Million dollars. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, chemicals, supervision, and other items and/or services necessary to maintain the swimming pools at Barksdale Air Force Base. Most of these services shall be performed during the swimming season typically begins on or around Memorial Day weekend and ends on or around Labor Day Weekend. The performance period is 1 Oct 2025 – 30 Sept 30 (Base plus four Option Years). The RFP number will be FA460825R0007 and will be issued via SAM.gov along with any amendments to the solicitation. The anticipated date the RFP will be available on or around 6 Aug 2025. A site visit will be scheduled once the solicitation is issued. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available, interested parties will have to download the solicitation package from SAM.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. In order to be awarded a contract with the federal government, vendors must be registered with System for Award Management, www.sam.gov.
