This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA460824QC150, is IAW FAR Parts 12 and 13 and is IAW provisions and clauses in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05, effective as of 22 May 2024. This is a total set aside for small business and the associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) number is 314110. The small business size standard is 1500 employees. ***NOTICE TO OFFERORS*** Funds are presently available for this effort. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of quotes. In the event the government cancels this solicitation, the government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Background The USAF Carpet II program is a two-tiered contract. Tier I refers to carpet manufacturers and Tier II is used to refer to carpet installers. Carpet installers shall purchase and install carpet from one of the awarded Tier I contractors. All terms and conditions, including the NTE pricing established in the Tier I contracts, shall be incorporated into all subsequent Tier II contracts. The carpet shall be purchased by the installers and shipping costs shall be included in the overall installation pricing at the Tier II level. Site Visit A site visit will be held on Barksdale AFB at Building 6238 – Hanger 11 (339 Lindbergh Rd East) on Monday August 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM Central Daylight Time (CDT). Offerors attending the site visit will meet at the front entrance of Building 6238. Once all attendees have arrived, the group will be escorted into the building. Site visit attendance is recommended; however, it is not mandatory. Please RSVP for this site visit no later than (NLT) 2:00 PM CDT on August 23, 2024.
