Several questions are still being evaluated, however, cannot be answered promptly enough to post the questions and answers prior to the due date and time of quotes. Based off of this, the 2d Contracting Squadron (2 CONS) office is extending solicitation FA460824QA001 to allow the requirement's Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) additional time to evaluate the questions. Once answers are received, an additional amendment will be posted with the questions and answers. *** *** Amendment 01 to Solicitation Number FA460824QA001, Concrete Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) has been issued to clarify the evaluation criteria and add additional information to the "Description/Purpose" section. Attachment 2 has been updated to reflect these changes. Please refer to the attachment titled "Amendment 01, Solicitation Number FA460824QA001, Concrete Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)" for additional details.*** Combined Synopsis - Solicitation for Commercial Items (IAW FAR 12.603) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA460824QA001, is IAW FAR Parts 12 and 13 and is IAW provisions and clauses in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-03, effective as of 23 February 2024. This is a total set aside for small business and the associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) number is 327320. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Description/Purpose:This RFQ is for the establishment of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for concrete materials IAW Attachment 1 – Price List. The Government intends to select up to three (3) awardees for the BPA. At the Government's discretion, the Government reserves the right to select more than three (3) offerors or less than three (3) offerors for the establishment of the BPA. A BPA is not a binding contract, but an agreement between the Government and the contractor to provide supplies or services on an "as required" basis and IAW an approved price list. A BPA is written for a period of five (5) years and during this period the government is only obligated for actual purchases made under the BPA. This will be a priced BPA, using competition to create a fair and reasonable price at the time of award. The pricing submitted will then be considered firm fixed price for year 1 of the BPA. Pricing submitted may be updated on a yearly basis. Updated pricing shall be sent to the Contracting Officer no later than 30 days prior to the first year being completed. Purchase Limitation - A dollar limitation of $250,000.00 shall apply for each individual purchase/SF1449 made by the Contracting Officer, under the BPA. When a Government Purchase Card is utilized, Individual purchases shall not exceed $25,000.00. There is no minimum dollar obligation for each call. Due Date and Time: Questions must be submitted via email no later than (NLT) 1:30 PM Central Standard Time (CST), Wednesday, 06 March 2024. Answers to questions submitted IAW specified due date will be provided on or around Friday, 08 March 2024. Quotes are requested by 1:30 PM CST, Wednesday, 13 March 2024.
