Notice of Sole Source Award Project Title: 608th Activu Software Reference Number: FA460823F0013 The 2nd Contracting Squadron, Barksdale AFB, hereby submits an official notice of sole source award. The Government has awarded a firm-fixedpriced contract to Activu Corporation under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) & 13.501(a)(1)(iii). This procurement action is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. A description of the product/service being acquired is as follows: The 608th is looking to add Activu Video Distribution System (VDS) capabilities to Joint-Global Operations Center (J-GSOC) Combat Battle Cab Conference Room and extend the Combat Operations Division’s (COD) existing Activu VDS services to J-GSOC leadership. Firms who desire to challenge this sole source action must submit an interest letter (email is acceptable) that demonstrates technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition. The letter must describe clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, and will not be cost or time prohibitive. *This notice does not constitute a solicitation document. Requests for such documents will not be considered. However, all information received after publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the Government. Information received will be evaluated as to confirm or deny the decision to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. The Government will not pay for information received.
