The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The NAICS for this project is 238990 and the small business size standard is $16.5M. This project is for OPP#1128662, Installation of Security Fence from the Industrial Gate to the Air Park (museum), by replacing with an updated 7 foot chain link security fence. The new fence will be 6’ chain link fence and 3 strands of barb wire supported by outriggers for a total fence height of about 7’. A site visit will be held for this project. This information will be located in Block 10 of the IFB. The will be a sealed bid requirement in accordance with FAR Parts 14 and 36. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement at Barksdale AFB, LA in accordance with the project statement of work (SOW) and all applicable code requirements. The IFP will be posted on or around 23 June 2022, the IFB will close 30 calendar days after the IFP is released. Bid opening will take place the day and time of the IFB closing. The period of performance is 90 calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP may be issued within 15 days after award of the contract. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOB) concerns in accordance with FAR part 19.203(c). The IFB will be available by electronic transmission only at SAM.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; see webpage at www.sam.gov. All proposals shall be valid for 90 calendars days after the RFP closing to be considered responsive. In accordance with FAR part 36.204(d) the magnitude of the project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
