The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and/or services necessary to conduct repairs and maintenance to Barksdale Air Force Base’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) training pit. Description of work is to repair life safety equipment to the ARFF Training Pit. Work to include Propane Tank, Control Tower, Ignition System, Water System, LPG System, Pneumatic System and Aircraft Structure. The expected contract start date is June 14th, 2021. Please see attached Combo Solicitation, Performance Work Statement, and Wage Determination for additional information. Important Dates and Times: Questions regarding the solicitation are due no later than 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021 - Central Standard Time. Answers to those questions asked will be provided no later than 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 - Central Standard Time. Quotes are due no later than 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 7, 2021 - Central Standard Time. In accordance with FAR 52.232-18 Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

No reimbursements will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to the Sources Sought or any follow-up information request. The United States Air Force, Barksdale Air Force Base (BAFB) has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities, and market conditions for the acquisition of Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) training pit repairs and maintenance to life safety equipment. Repairs and maintenance will be conducted in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Interested and capable commercial sources are being sought to determine capability to deliver the attached items. This Sources Sought Notice is seeking vendors who can provide the following: • All personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and/or services necessary to conduct repairs and maintenance to Barksdale Air Force Base’s ARFF training pit. Description of work is to repair life safety equipment to the ARFF Training Pit.
