This acquisition is to provide engineering services for ongoing support of the B-52 ALQ-172. Support is required to continue to provide equipment checkout, troubleshooting, engineering analysis of suspected failures, limited repair of failed prime mission equipment, and, to provide Air Force maintenance personnel engineering support for checkout and repair of the related support equipment. Additionally, the contractor shall provide technical guidance and engineering services in the evaluation of unusual field problems and render emergency technical advice related to the AN/ALQ-172(V)2 systems. The contractor shall perform engineering analysis to confirm failures prior to returning LRU's to the depot maintenance facility, with the goal of reducing the number of Can Not Duplicate (CND) actions. The contractor will provide on-site technical support at Barksdale AFB and Minot AFB. Period of Performance is 12 months with four (4) twelve-month option periods. Solicitation will be issued sole source to Harris, Inc.
