This acquisition is to provide engineering services for ongoing support of the B-52 AN/USM-464. Support is required for on-site proficiency training, technical guidance and information in the evaluation of unusual field problems, render technical guidance related specifically to the equipment cited in the contract, and to minimize the time required to test aircraft and increase testing effectiveness resulting in increased aircraft availability and B-52H mission effectiveness. Additionally, the contractor shall provide technical guidance and engineering services in the evaluation of unusual field problems and render emergency technical advice related to the AN/USM-464A test set. The contractor will provide on-site technical support at Barksdale AFB and Minot AFB. Period of Performance is 12 months with four (4) twelve-month option periods. Solicitation will be issued sole source to BAE Systems. Authority: 10 USC 2304(c){1), Justification: Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
