This is for market survey and seeking small business responses only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Barksdale Air Force Base, LA has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions for the acquisition for education advisors and a test administrator. Interested capable commercial sources are being sought to determine the level of interest to provide these services, this is not a solicitation for quotes, but a solicitation may be issued at a later date. Any resulting solicitation will be posted electronically to this site. No reimbursements will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to the sources sought or any follow-up information request. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilizes Business Zones (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business and/or Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business's (EDWOSB) to compete for this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System is 611710 - Educational Support Services with size standard of $15.0 Million. The 2d Contracting Squadron/PKA plans to establish a firm-fixed price contract for (1) base year and (4) option years, to provide all non-personal services, to include labor, equipment, materials and related items necessary to perform (2) Education Advisors and (1) Customer/Test Administrator for 2 FSS/FSDE, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation is to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of interested, capable commercial companies. For additional information, see attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). Responses shall reference Sources Sought Capabilities and Number, see attached Capabilities Statement. Interested participations encouraged to submit questions or suggestions in response to this posting concerning NAICS selection and attached draft documents.
