The scope of work is to remove the jacketing and insulation from around Boiler 3, clean the vessel surface, and perform NDT/NDE to verify and certify the structural integrity of the boiler vessel. Afterwards, if the structural integrity is satisfactory; the insulation and jacketing is to be replaced and the boiler put back in service with a full combustion check and tuning as well as operational and safety inspections. The Contractor shall provide a proposal for the work split into two portions in accordance with this conditional scenario. See Performance Work Statement (PWS) for additional information. Technical questions are due by 6 March 2024 by 11:00 AM CST. Answers to questions will be available by 8 March 2024 at 11:00 AM CST. Quotations are due by 14 March 2024 at 11:00 AM CST. ***AMENDMENT 0003*** This amendment is to incorporate the Questions and Answers as well as a visual description of the boiler, and to remove the Site Visit MFR and NCIC Screening and Pass Request from the current version of this solicitaiton.
