This scope of work is to clean debris and contaminants from the B280 AAFES unleaded fuel underground storage tanks. There have been recent issues with finding significant amounts of sediment and corroded debris inside the tanks. There are two large tanks, a 20,000 gal one and a 15,000 gal one. Both are double-walled with the top sides located approximately 36” below grade. The tanks have a manhole and manway for access. Additionally, the scope shall include replacement of the spill buckets for the fill ports and vapor recovery port of the underground fuel storage tanks at B361. The spill buckets are degraded and recently failed regulation hydrostatic testing. Additional information canbe found in the attached documents. Site Visit is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 June 2022 @ 9:30 am CDT. Attendance is not required in order to submit a quote. Please contact POC for deatils on site visit if interested in attending. Please give notice on attendance as it requires a few days to grant base access to visitors. Solicitation posting was updated on 30 June 2022 to add a revised Statement of Work, B2280 Tank Data, and a B361 Drawing to the attachements. This solicitation was amended on 5 July 2022 to extend the due date for solicitation responses. thye new due date is 8 July 2022 at 4:00pm CDT. Amended solicitation is attached along with the SF30. The SF30 must be signed and sent to the 55th Contracting Squadron when submitting your quote/bid/proposal.
