Due to the deteriorating and hazardous conditions inside the temporary K9 facility, the 55th SFS is specifically looking for (8) portable and enclosed kennels to house our Military Working Dogs. Please refer to the RFQ attached for more information. The following items (or equivalent) are required: Kennel materials and specifications: Each kennel must have the ability to be physically attached to another kennel or separated into individual kennels if they are designed or sold as multiple kennels. Due to a need to balance space for the K9s and facility size constraints, each individual kennel must have an interior size of 4’W x 7’H x 8’D plus or minus 1”. Must be constructed from either stainless or galvanized steel. Stainless is preferred. The “front side” of each individual kennel must be constructed of steel wire/mesh to allow ventilation. Ceiling ventilation is required as well. Unit must have a full-size door (should be on the “front side”) to allow humans to easily access the kennel. Include casters to assist movement with ability to lock in-place. Include liquid drainage channels & plumbing connections. Include raised & removeable flooring. Include a brush & squeegee for cleaning Include moveable (via swivel) food & water bowls Assembly is acceptable Shipping to Offutt AFB with 8 weeks or less delivery. Minimum 1 year warranty covering: Manufacturing defects Unreasonable damage from routine use 2. Contractor must provide description of suggested “equal” items with the quote to be reviewed for acceptability. 3. Evaluation will consist of: Meeting the minimum specs and delivery requirements. The Government will award to the best value offer. More consideration may be given to a vendor that offers shorter delivery times while meeting the specification requirements.
