This requirement is to provide encapsulation of the surface of the supply and return ductwork from each room suite to the corresponding equipment closet in B367. The intent of this is to seal any mold or other harmful surfaces from the air stream. The ductwork being in safe and healthy condition is critical for the health and safety of the airmen living in the dormitory. The requested service is to provide encapsulation of the interior of the identified ductwork with DuctArmor sealant or an equivalent product. Air cleaning of the ductwork to prepare the surface and remove loose particulates must be performed. Cleaning and sanitizing of the blowers, coils, and vent/grills surfaces must be performed. A - The ductwork line sizes are 12”x6”, 12”x8”, and 16”x8” accessed from the room vents and the fan coil closets.
