The container and chassis must be new. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The reference number applicable to this announcement is RFQ FA4600-21-Q-003-50. This solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), FAR 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423720 – Plumbing and Heating Equipment and Supplies (Hydronics) Merchant Wholesalers, with a size standard of 200 employees. All qualified small businesses under this industry are encouraged to submit quotes. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Provide and deliver a new portable boiler system with a containerized mobile system enclosed in a movable trailer, with all required vents and external hookups. QUESTIONS DUE DATE AND TIME: Bidders/Offerors are requested to submit all questions to the points of contact noted above no later than 1 September 2021 at 1000 CST. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. OFFER DUE DATE AND TIME: Proposals are due by 10:00 AM, Central Standard Time (CST) / Local, 15 September 2021. All proposals must be submitted via email prior to aforementioned deadline.
