The 436th Contracting Squadron (436 CONS) is seeking information from Small Business firms (within 75 miles) that have an interest and capability to submit as a prime contractor, a proposal for the following description: The contractor provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to Install Custom 3 Part roller systems according to user specifications for two GSA, AFMAO assigned Dignified Transfer vehicles. Specific Functions: The Secretary of Defense directed vehicles for our Dignified Transfers. These provide a professional image for our high profile mission. They must be outfitted with a functional roller systems to satisfactorily complete the DT in the best use and in the quietest way. Vehicles must be specifically modified for the unique mission of transporting transfer cases containing the remains of fallen. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only and will be used to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this RFI. Responses will not be considered as quotes, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. Contact with Government personnel other than those specified in this RFI by potential offerors or their employees regarding this project is prohibited. This FedBizOps notice is an announcement seeking market information on vendors capable of providing the product as described herein. For the purpose of this RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811121, Automotive body and interior repair. At a minimum we are requesting that all interested and qualified firms respond to this RFI via email with a capability statement that includes the following information: (1) Company Cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address; (2) Any small business status (8(a), HUB-Zone, Veteran-owned, Women-owned, etc.); (3) Indicate which NAICS code your company usually uses to provide the requirements described above. Please provide rationale if your answer is different from NAICS 811121. The information above must be submitted in written format via e-mail to Ron Price ronald.price.16@us.af.mil by 29 March 2021 at 09:00 am EST. In order to receive an award from any resultant solicitation, should one be issued, the successful offeror must be registered and active in System for Award Management (SAM).
