Facility 841 on Dover Air Force Base is a mechanical room and bathroom facility that houses the mechanical equipment supporting the base 224,400 gallon swimming pool/water slide operation as well as the splash park. The contactor is requiered to perform a annual season opening and closing of the swimming pool/water slide and splash park that pertains to the mechanical equipment for chlorination and water circulation as well as chemical balancing of the water. Additionally, the contractor shall repair and or replace any mechanical equipment and appurtenances that affect the swimming pool/water slide and splash park water quality and operation as designed, in time for seasonal opening. Prior to repair or replacement of mechanical equipment and appurtenances the contractor will first contact the Contracting Officer Representative and or 436th CES/WFSM shop manager for approval. Questions must be submitted to the Contracting Specialist, Elizabeth Lopez, by 8 March 2021 no later than 4:00 PM EST. The contractor shall submit their proposal by 12 March 2021, no later than 4:00 PM EST to the contracting office by e-mail to both points of contact listed below in order to be considered. Contractors are encouraged to offer their most advantageous/best proposal. Proposals must be valid through 15 April 2021.
