The 436 Contracting Squadron is requesting information from interested firms who possess the capability to provide laundry and dry cleaning services as specified below: Description of Service: The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, and facilities, including transportation of linen. The contractor will be required to transport linen between the contractor-operated laundry facility and 4 different locations on Dover AFB, DE. In addition, the contractor must be able to provide laundry services, including the process to keep clean and soiled/contaminated laundry in separate containers at all times, and shrink-wrap the linen. Services are required Monday through Friday during normal business hours, and as needed on Saturday or Sunday in an event of an emergency. The contractor shall provide and perform laundry services in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in support of Dover Air Force Base (AFB). This Request for Information (RFI) is for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Your response will be treated as information only and shall not be used as a proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or to otherwise pay for the information requested. The Government will utilize the following information for determining an acquisition strategy: 1. Summarize how your company is uniquely capable and qualified to perform this type of service. 2. Provide North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code that the company operates under for this service. 3. Provide the current business size status (i.e. Large, Small Business, SBA 8(a) participant, Hubzone, etc.) associated with the NAICs identified above. 4. Provide the company standard for inventory pick-up/delivery services (i.e. weighted and/or piece count). 5. Provide a brief narrative validating your ability to meet the requirements in the Infection Control Linen Facility Inspection checklist listed in the attachment. Written RFI responses must be received no later than 5 May, 12:00 PM EDT.
