Section A, Question 2 "Is the facility accredited by the Health Care Laundry Accreditation Council?" is no longer required. The purpose of amendment one (1) is to: 1. Extend the proposal due date from 28 February 2020, 10:00 AM EST to 4 March 2020, 10:00 AM EST. 2. Extend the date to submit questions from 14 February, 10:00 AM EST to 28 February 2020, 4:00 PM EST. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposal(s) must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation is 100% set aside for a Small Business. The solicitation number is FA449720R0010 Linen and Laundry Services and this solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal. The Government intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed Price contract. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05 and DFARS Publication Notice 20190809. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 812332 Industrial Launderers and the size standard is $41.5M. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, and facilities, including transportation of linen to contractor-owned/contractor-operated laundry facility to accomplish the required linen cleaning service. The contractor shall provide and perform laundry services in accordance with the requirements contained in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in support of Dover Air Force Base (AFB). This requirement is 100% small business set aside. Interested contractors must submit their proposals in accordance with the instructions found in the attached solicitation.
