This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for brand name commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The quote(s) must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is 100% set aside for a Small Business. The solicitation number is FA449720Q0012, Vidmar Storage Cabinets and Overhead Bins, and this solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote. The Government intends to award one (1) firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05 and DFARS Publication Notice 20200324. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 337215 - Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing and the size standard is 500 EMP. This is a brand name requirement. This is a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) competitive selection conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Contractors are required to meet all solicitation requirements, such as terms and conditions, representations and certifications, and technical requirements, in addition to those identified as factors. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the solicitation may result in the contractor being ineligible for award. Contractors must clearly identify any exception to the solicitation terms and conditions and must provide complete supporting rationale. The Government reserves the right to determine any such exceptions unacceptable. The Government intends to award one (1) firm-fixed priced contract without discussions with respective contractor. The Government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in its best interest. Any quote, modification, revision, or withdrawal of a quote received after 23 April 2020 at 0900 AM EST shall be determined as late and will not be considered unless received before award is made, the Contracting Officer determines that accepting the late quote would not unduly delay the acquisition, and it was the only quote received.
