The following questions from the Q&A have been further clarified: 22) Since this is a fencing project, please confirm the intent of the design submittals and what DAFB would like to see included. For instance, are civil dwgs required including a site survey, topos, etc. -- For design, we are looking to receive all relevant drawings needed for this project. This could include civil drawings, if appropriate. We will need drawings of only the affected systems of the project. 23) What design is required for the concrete dead men at each gate? Are these simply intended to be concrete anchors for the wire or do they need to be designed to meet a min K rating with rebar, testing documents, etc? -- The dead mean are used to anchor the wire and should be designed using two cubic yards of concrete buried and topped with topsoil and sod. The cable system must meet the breaking strength of 58,800 pounds. If construction of the dead men is done in accordance with the statement of work (two cubic yards of concrete) this will meet our requirement. Consequently, the solicitation has been extended to 13 May 2019 to allow for updating your offers accordingly. ATTENTION TO OFFERORS: This solicitation has been ammended. The NAICS code is 238990 with a small business size standard of $15,000,000 B. This solicitation is being issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside C. This solicitation will result in the award of a firm-fixed price contract D. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 (IAW FAR 36.204) E. A Site Visit will be conducted on 24 April 2019 at 10:00 a.m. EST. Please refer to FAR Clause 52.236-27 for more details F.
